Introduction to the Aquatic Resources Educational Center

The Aquatic Resources Educational Center, operated by the Division of Fish and Wildlife, is a unique and dynamic facility that focuses on promoting environmental education and conservation of wetlands, fishing, and other aquatic resources. Our mission is to inspire a love of nature and foster a sense of responsibility among the next generation of environmental stewards. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Aquatic Resources Educational Center Naturalist II to join our team and contribute to the development and delivery of engaging educational programs for students and the general public.

Job Summary

As an Aquatic Resources Educational Center Naturalist II, you will play a key role in presenting wetland environmental education material to fifth-grade students, leading youth fishing programs, and developing and maintaining program materials, displays, and equipment. You will also assist in the care and maintenance of aquariums and live aquatic species, and perform other tasks related to the preparation and presentation of field trip and fishing programs.
