Position Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Substitute Teacher to join our team in Allenwood, NJ. As a Substitute Teacher with Scoot Education, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students and gain hands-on teaching experience on your own schedule. We offer the highest pay rates among substitute providers, with up to $190 for day-to-day assignments and more for long-term assignments. Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality teaching and instruction to students in the absence of the regular teacher
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the needs of diverse learners
• Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment
• Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and school administrators
• Be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced educational setting
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will need:

• An Associate or Bachelor's degree, or 60+ college credits
• Three professional references, including one from a previous direct supervisor
• A NJ Substitute Credential
• A background check and TB risk assessment (we will cover the cost of this)
• Full COVID-19 vaccination

Preferred Qualifications
