Key Responsibilities

• Provide essential information and guidance to families during the matching process, ensuring a smooth and successful experience for all parties involved.
• Clearly articulate regulations, policies, and program rules to Host Families and Au Pairs, promoting understanding and compliance.
• Conduct in-home family interviews and site visits to confirm understanding of program regulations and provide support where needed.
• Facilitate in-home orientations for new Au Pairs upon their arrival, helping them settle into their new environment and ensuring a successful start to their Au Pair experience.
• Maintain monthly communications with families and Au Pairs to ensure ongoing support and address any concerns or issues that may arise.
• Organize and implement in-person cultural events for Au Pairs in the local community, promoting cultural exchange and socialization.
• Collaborate with headquarters staff to support families and Au Pairs effectively, ensuring seamless communication and issue resolution.
• Build and nurture personal relationships with families and Au Pairs, providing high-quality communication and support.
• Execute marketing initiatives as directed by headquarters, promoting the Au Pair program and attracting new participants.
• Address crisis and conflict situations promptly and professionally, assisting families and Au Pairs with resolution and providing support during challenging times.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with families and Au Pairs from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
• High energy, enthusiasm, and motivation, with a passion for international exchange and education.
• Proficient in utilizing technology, including access to a home computer/laptop and the internet, to stay connected with families, Au Pairs, and headquarters staff.
• Reliable transportation and access to a vehicle, enabling you to conduct in-home visits and participate in local events.

While not mandatory, previous experience in childcare or cultural exchange programs is highly preferred, as is a college degree. However, we're committed to developing the skills and capabilities of our team members, so don't be discouraged if you don't meet every qualification.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

Our compensation structure is tiered based on the number of active families within your service area, ensuring you have a clear understanding of your earning potential. For example:

• For 3 active families: Approximately 1.4 hours per week; estimated yearly compensation: up to $4,500.
• For 11 active families: Approximately 3.0 hours per week; estimated yearly compensation: $9,300.

As an independent contractor, you'll enjoy the flexibility of creating your own schedule while making a significant impact in the lives of families and young adults globally. Payments will be made monthly for the deliverables submitted for the prior month.
