Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Unity Architect to join our team on a freelance basis. As a Unity Freelance Architect, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, efficient solutions for Unity-based applications and games. Key Responsibilities
- Design and Architecture: Design and architect scalable and efficient solutions for Unity-based applications and games, ensuring high-performance systems and optimized game features.
- Collaboration and Technical Leadership: Collaborate with developers and designers to implement robust and optimized game features, and provide technical leadership to ensure architectural best practices are followed.
- Troubleshooting and Optimization: Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to performance, scalability, and usability, and optimize game systems for mobile, console, and PC platforms.
- Problem-Solving and Communication: Utilize strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail to identify and resolve technical issues, and communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Requirements
Essential Qualifications
- Proven Experience: Proven experience as a Unity Architect or Senior Developer, with a strong portfolio of game development projects.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of C#, Unity's Scripting API, and 3D/2D game development, as well as experience in optimizing games for performance and memory management.
- Independence and Time Management: Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality solutions within deadlines, with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with developers, designers, and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- AR/VR Development: Experience with AR/VR development, including knowledge of Unity's AR/VR features and best practices.
