Job Description:
As a Behavior Technician at Key Autism Services, you'll work closely with our BCBAs and families to implement ABA therapy programs in-home. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing one-on-one (1:1) in-home Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy
- Collecting behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions
- Conducting discrete trials, implementing behavior support, and treatment plans
- Working collaboratively with BCBAs to implement basic principles and teaching procedures of ABA therapy
- Being responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors
- Maintaining professionalism and goal-oriented approach in all aspects of your work
- Arriving on time and being prepared for therapy sessions

Requirements:
To be successful as a Behavior Technician at Key Autism Services, you'll need:
- Bachelor's Degree or working towards your degree in a related field (Psychology, Education, or Sociology)
- 1 year of experience working with children in a 1:1 setting
- 1 year of ABA experience (or 1-2 years of experience as a Special Education Assistant, Paraprofessional, Direct Support Professional, Medical Assistant, Autism Experience, Teacher's Assistant, or ABA Tutor)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Personal means of transportation with a reliable vehicle
Physical Requirements:
As a Behavior Technician, you'll need to:
- Be able to lift up to 35lbs
- Perform activities that entail fine and gross motor skills, bend, kneel, squat, sitting on floor level or in a chair, or standing for periods of time
- Respond quickly in short distances (100 feet) in response to the movements and behaviors of children
- Work in both indoor and outdoor settings
