Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Radiology Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Charlotte, North Carolina. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team. This is a 13-week assignment with 12-hour shifts, 3 days a week, and offers a competitive salary of $2,503 per week, with $1,752 in wages and $751 in stipend.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform radiologic procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs, to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
- Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, explaining the procedure and positioning them correctly
- Operate radiologic equipment, including X-ray machines, CT scanners, and MRI machines
- Monitor patients during procedures and report any adverse reactions to the radiologist or other healthcare team members
- Maintain patient records and radiologic images, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare team members to provide high-quality patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest standards of patient care and safety
Essential Qualifications
- 2 years of experience as a Radiology Technologist
- BLS certification
- National and state certification as a Radiology Technologist (and/or as required)
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, 3 days a week
- Ability to travel to Charlotte, North Carolina, and live 60 miles away from the facility
