Key Responsibilities
- Assist in end-to-end provider claims processing, focusing on enhancing call quality and resolving issues efficiently
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve the ease of use of our physician portal and future services enhancements
- Contribute to the design and implementation of programs that build and nurture positive relationships between our health plan, providers, and practice managers
- Support the development and management of provider networks, ensuring effective communication and issue resolution
- Help implement training and development programs for external providers, promoting education and awareness of our services and initiatives
- Identify gaps in network composition and services, providing valuable insights to inform network contracting and development strategies
Requirements for Success
To excel in this role, you will need to bring a combination of experience, skills, and passion for delivering exceptional results. The essential requirements include:
- 4+ years of experience in healthcare or managed care, with a deep understanding of the industry and its complexities
- 2+ years of experience in provider relations or provider network management, with a proven track record of building strong relationships and driving results
- 1+ year of experience in claims processing and issue resolution, with a strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
- 1+ year of experience with Medicare and Medicaid regulations, with a solid understanding of the regulatory environment and its implications
- Intermediate proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies
- Based in Louisiana, with a willingness and ability to travel up to 25% within the state
