Job Overview

As an HCM Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the implementation of break-fix and enhancement configuration requests for Workday Core HCM, Recruiting, and Onboarding modules. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage Workday Core HCM and Recruiting module project-oriented work efforts, ensuring timely delivery, high-quality standards, and customer satisfaction.
- Partner with designated business partners and HR Technology peers to ensure project success, providing regular status updates and progress reports.
- Define project timelines, perform quality reviews, and escalate issues as necessary to ensure project stability and customer expectations are met.
- Track key project milestones, adjust project plans and resources as needed, and maintain accurate documentation in online project management tools.
- Coordinate communication with various business areas, ensuring seamless collaboration and project delivery.
- Provide day-to-day break-fix support, configure Workday Core HCM and Recruiting modules, and implement new features and enhancements.
- Document implemented features, provide cross-training to HR Technology team members, and maintain up-to-date project documentation.
- Attend internal and customer-facing conference calls, producing status reports and updates for stakeholders.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Complete Workday Core HCM or Recruiting/Onboarding module business process configuration in a timely manner, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing solutions.
- Process support break-fixes and new enhancement requests, documenting features and assisting with cross-training of HR Technology peers.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in online project management systems, providing regular status reports on work completion.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Extensive knowledge and expertise in Workday Core HCM and/or Recruitment and Onboarding module business process configuration, including alerts, basic reporting, advanced calculation fields, condition rules, and business process definition configuration.
- Proven experience in Workday business process configuration implementation, with a strong understanding of HR processes and best practices.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and manage competing deadlines.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with business partners, HR Technology peers, and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, with minimal supervision.
