Job Overview: Key Responsibilities
As a Help Desk Technician, you'll be the primary point of contact for our clients, providing expert technical support and troubleshooting services to ensure seamless IT operations. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing desktop and laptop support, including break/fix issues, application installation and configuration, and user-level settings.
- Troubleshooting Windows 10/11 and MacOS issues, as well as working with Office 365 and Active Directory.
- Investigating and remediating malware alerts, and assisting users with MFA enrollment.
- Utilizing our ticketing system to document, track, and escalate tickets, and maintaining up-to-date documentation in our knowledge base.
- Collaborating with our team to deliver exceptional service to clients, both remotely and onsite.
- Working a 4x10 schedule (Friday to Monday), with flexible shift timing during daylight hours.
Requirements: Essential and Preferred Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A minimum of 1 year of professional IT support experience.
- Working knowledge of Windows 10, 11, and MacOS.
- Familiarity with the Microsoft 365 office suite.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Superb verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Knowledge of Office 365 cloud services.
- Familiarity with Azure and/or AWS.
- A+ and/or Network+ certifications.
- Experience working with ticketing systems, particularly Autotask.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds.
- Reliable transportation (although remote work is primary).
