Key Responsibilities
- Monitor daily operational performance of Disney Retail Guest Experience and provide effective real-time reaction to business performance, landscapes, and opportunities in the retail and ecommerce ecosystems.
- Provide elevated level service to guests by answering calls/emails/chat messages in a high-touch Guest Services approach, resolving complex or difficult post-purchase issues.
- Offer product and voice of guest feedback to influence potential product enhancements, driving business growth and improvement.
- Prioritize daily workflow, handling guest interactions and recovery in their post-purchase journey, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners, such as D23 Members and Disney Theatrical Guests, to provide seamless support and resolve guest issues.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent, with a strong foundation in customer service principles.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and confidently.
- Proficiency with Microsoft products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Knowledge of Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Parks and Resorts, with a passion for delivering magical guest experiences.
- Excellent conflict resolution and de-escalation skills, with the ability to handle difficult or sophisticated guest situations.
- Experience handling confidential information, with a strong understanding of data protection and privacy principles.
- Aptness for building relationships with guests, colleagues, and internal partners.
- Flexible scheduling availability, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge:
- Extensive knowledge of applications such as Guest Service Suite, Zendesk, and Avaya.
- Previous experience working in a Guest Service and/or Retail role, particularly in a Walt Disney World environment.
- Verbal and written bilingual abilities, with the ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages.
