Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Have at least two years of experience in finance, accounting, analytics, financial reporting, business reporting, or risk reporting, or a combination of education, employment, military, or volunteer experience.
- Have a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and internal control policies.
- Be a certified public accountant (CPA) or have a related certification, demonstrating your expertise and commitment to the field of accounting.
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred:
- At least two years of SEC/quarterly regulatory experience, with a strong understanding of Fiserv and the implementation of COSO-based Sarbanes-Oxley internal control assessments.
- Experience in military intelligence or analysis, including operations management, project management, change management, and financial management.
- Knowledge of the credit card industry, with at least one year of experience in product/credit market analysis.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with intermediate Essbase/Smartview, VLOOKUP/Pivot Table experience.
- Experience with ledger orchestration and automation tools, with a strong understanding of accounting and financial systems.
- Independent decision-making and creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and understand barriers in complex matrix domains.
- Knowledge of US GAAP financial statements and instruments, with the ability to convert and draft complex data into understandable and effective reports and recommendations.
