Core Job Functions
As a Weekend Intake Specialist, you will play a critical role in our Intake team, handling incoming calls and new client calls for evaluation in various areas of law, including personal injury, workers' compensation, medical malpractice, employment law, and social security. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Completing new client intakes and screening potential clients, resolving actions to complete missing or unknown information, and forwarding all calls to the appropriate attorney (phone or email).
- Tracking and responding to callers professionally and focused on customer service, as well as obtaining all needed data for proper referral actions, to include accurate completion of the Call Sheet.
- Providing excellent phone etiquette and outstanding customer service, ensuring that all clients feel valued, respected, and supported throughout the intake process.
- Working collaboratively with other team members to accomplish daily tasks, build positive relationships, and contribute to the overall success of our Intake team.
- Completing assigned work in a timely manner, meeting deadlines, and maintaining a high level of productivity and efficiency.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a customer service or customer-facing role, preferably in a law firm or call center atmosphere.
- Demonstrated experience answering phones, handling incoming calls, and providing exceptional customer service.
- Availability to work a daylight, four-day schedule that includes weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday), with flexibility to attend occasional on-site meetings or events at our Pittsburgh Headquarters office.
- Residency in Pennsylvania, with proximity to Pittsburgh, to facilitate travel to headquarters for corporate visits (travel expenses related to corporate visits will be the responsibility of the employee).
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office applications and other database entry software, with the ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly.
- Empathic and compassionate individual with excellent listening skills, able to ask important questions, follow instructions, and pay attention to detail.
- Strong multitasking, time management, and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Confident and professional communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear, concise, and respectful manner.
Preferred Qualifications
