Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- A valid Alaska initial, professional, or master teaching certificate
- Evidence of content knowledge in mathematics, demonstrated through a posted degree, minor, or certificate endorsement in the subject area
- Passing Praxis Subject Assessments scores (formerly Praxis II) in mathematics
- Strong knowledge of math curriculum and pedagogy, with the ability to design and deliver engaging and challenging lesson plans
