Key Responsibilities
- Amazon Connect Implementation:
- Design, configure, and deploy Amazon Connect contact center solutions that align with business requirements.
- Build and optimize contact flows, IVRs, routing profiles, and queues to ensure seamless customer interactions.
- Integrate Amazon Connect with other AWS services, including Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, and CloudWatch, to enhance functionality and performance.
- Implement solutions for call recording, sentiment analysis, and reporting using tools like Contact Lens and CloudWatch Metrics.
- Terraform Automation:
- Develop and maintain Terraform scripts to automate Amazon Connect infrastructure deployment and management, ensuring efficiency and consistency.
- Create reusable Terraform modules to enable rapid provisioning and minimize errors.
- Ensure Terraform code is modular, secure, and adheres to best practices, promoting a robust and scalable infrastructure.
- Integration & Development:
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate Amazon Connect with external CRMs (e.g., Salesforce, Zendesk) and third-party systems, enhancing the overall customer experience.
- Write and optimize AWS Lambda functions using Python or Node.js for custom workflows and event triggers, driving automation and innovation.
- Monitoring & Optimization:
- Monitor Amazon Connect performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize configurations for efficiency and scalability, ensuring high-quality customer interactions.
- Use analytics tools to measure performance metrics and implement improvements, driving continuous enhancement.
- Documentation & Collaboration:
- Create detailed documentation for infrastructure designs, Terraform modules, and operational processes, facilitating knowledge sharing and collaboration.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, software development, and customer support teams, to ensure alignment and drive success.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Amazon Connect Expertise:
- Proven experience implementing and managing Amazon Connect solutions, with a deep understanding of contact flow design, IVRs, and queue/routing configurations.
- Terraform Proficiency:
- Hands-on experience creating and maintaining Terraform scripts for AWS infrastructure, with familiarity with Terraform best practices, state management, and version control tools like Git.
- AWS Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of AWS services, including Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch, and IAM, with AWS certification (Solutions Architect, Developer, or Advanced Networking) a plus.
- Programming Skills:
- Proficiency in Python or Node.js for developing Lambda functions and custom scripts, driving automation and innovation.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with excellent communication and collaboration abilities, and a detail-oriented approach to documentation and presentation.
