Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and implement solutions to operational impacts, coordinating resolution with clients, tenants, designers, and construction teams.
- Conduct design reviews of conceptual and detailed designs for airport terminal and airfield improvements, including terminals, concourses, apron areas, and specialty systems.
- Represent clients in progress meetings, coordinating design, addressing operational issues, and developing solutions.
- Maintain effective communication with peers, supervisors, and clients as necessary.
- Develop project phasing to address operational issues and review and develop program schedules.
- Prepare status reports, presentations, and materials explaining operational impacts or general project information to clients and others.
- Monitor construction status and coordinate with representatives of the construction team on project status and construction issues.
- Perform specialized tasks as required, with minimal supervision and within acceptable time frames.
- Maintain accurate records, files, and documents, and prepare graphics as needed.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited University or Program in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Engineering or Management, Aviation Management, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in terminal design and construction, airline operations, airport design, planning, and operations.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
- CAD and graphics software experience is preferred.
- Ability to obtain airport security clearance, which requires a 10-year criminal background check.
- Valid Driver's License.
