Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Data Entry Clerk to join our team on a remote basis. As a Data Entry Clerk, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our data management processes. You'll be responsible for gathering, organizing, and entering data into our systems, as well as performing various administrative tasks to support our team. Key Responsibilities
- Gathering and Organizing Data: Collect invoices, statements, reports, personal details, documents, and information from employees, other departments, and clients.
- Data Entry and Management: Enter and update information into relevant databases, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Data Quality Control: Scan through information to identify pertinent information, correct errors, and organize data in a manner that optimizes swift and accurate capturing.
- Spreadsheet Creation and Management: Create accurate spreadsheets and ensure data is backed up.
- Communication and Collaboration: Inform relevant parties regarding errors encountered and collaborate with team members to ensure seamless data management.
- Data Storage and Retrieval: Store hard copies of data in an organized manner to optimize retrieval.
- Additional Duties: Handle additional duties from time to time, as required by the team.
Essential Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma required.
- Experience: 1+ year of experience in a relevant field, preferably in data entry or administration.
- Language Skills: Good command of English, both written and verbal.
- Technical Skills: Excellent knowledge of MS Office Word and Excel, with strong proficiency in data entry and management.
- Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members and clients.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to concentrate for lengthy periods and perform accurately with adequate speed.
- Typing Skills: Proficient touch typing skills required.
