Key Responsibilities
- Initiate, process, and monitor all payroll activities between centers, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
- Collaborate with various departments, including payroll, HR, benefits, and finance/accounting, to coordinate efforts and drive alignment.
- Provide biweekly reporting to management teams and respond to ad-hoc reporting requests, demonstrating your analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Assist with reconciliations of payroll prior to final submission for approvals, showcasing your attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Perform other duties as assigned, adapting to changing priorities and requirements.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- 5+ years of demonstrated experience with multistate payroll and tax functions, showcasing your expertise in payroll operations.
- Proficiency in UKG Pro or UltiPro, with a strong understanding of payroll systems and processes.
- Current knowledge of payroll laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel and HRIS systems, with the ability to manipulate large datasets and drive insights.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong prioritization and multitasking skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
