Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of engineers, solution architects, and integration specialists, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the integration of marketing technology platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Experience Cloud) with Delta's existing systems, ensuring seamless data flow and operational efficiency.
- Partner with marketing and technology leadership to develop and execute a strategic roadmap for marketing technology integrations and custom engineering solutions that support Delta's growth and innovation objectives.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Digital, IT, and external vendor teams to identify integration opportunities that align with Delta's business goals and customer experience objectives.
- Lead the design and implementation of custom integrations and enhancements to marketing technology platforms, API solutions, and data pipelines, ensuring they meet business requirements and adhere to best practices.
- Drive the successful delivery of multiple concurrent projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with Delta's strategic business goals.
- Collaborate with project managers to define project timelines, resources, and deliverables, and manage stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Stay up to date with emerging marketing technologies and trends, evaluating their potential impact on Delta.
- Participate in initiatives to evaluate the scalability, performance, and functionality of Delta's marketing technology stack, driving innovation and continuous improvement.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in marketing technology, software engineering, or solutions integration, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team of technical professionals.
- Proven experience managing and delivering complex technology integration projects within a marketing or digital environment.
- A strong understanding of marketing technology platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Experience Cloud) and their integration with enterprise systems, API development and integration, cloud platforms, and data integration tools.
- A deep understanding of data architecture, databases, and data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
- Excellent project management skills, with experience managing multiple, large-scale projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong collaboration skills, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
