Remote Mandarin Chinese Online Tutor for Children

Join Our Dynamic Team as a Mandarin Chinese Online Tutor! We're seeking a passionate and experienced Mandarin Chinese tutor to join our team at PandaTree, delivering high-quality online language lessons to children ages 2-17. As a remote-based tutor, you'll have the flexibility to work from the comfort and safety of your own home, choosing your own hours between 15-30 hours per week.

As a Mandarin Chinese Online Tutor, you will play a vital role in helping kids improve their Chinese fluency through fun and engaging conversations over our proprietary video-conference platform. You'll utilize our interactive content modules to create personalized learning experiences, gently guiding students with new words or corrections as needed. Your patience, kindness, and energetic presence will make a significant impact on our students' learning journey.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver one-on-one and small group tutoring sessions to children ages 2-17
• Utilize our proprietary video-conference platform and engaging curriculum to create interactive learning experiences
• Provide personalized feedback and guidance to students, helping them improve their Chinese fluency
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and write update notes after each lesson
• Commit to 9+ months of working with PandaTree, with flexible hours and a competitive pay rate

Requirements:

• Native-fluency in Mandarin Chinese, with strong English speaking and writing skills
• Bachelor's degree, Master's degree, or PhD in Education or Language, with 2+ years of experience teaching or working with children
• Prior tutoring experience (online or in-person) and a patient, kind, energetic, and fun demeanor
• Reliable, high-speed internet connection and a quiet, private, interruption-free room for online tutoring sessions
• Ability to work in the U.S. and legally permitted to work in the U.S.
