Job Summary
We are seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to join our Centralized Sitter Program at UCHealth. As a key member of our team, you will provide top-notch patient care in a virtual health setting, utilizing the nursing process to deliver exceptional outcomes. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to prioritize patient wellness, promote evidence-based practice, and drive quality improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in a virtual health setting, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes, prioritizing patient wellness, and promoting evidence-based practice.
- Model proficiency in nursing practice, precepting new staff members, and contributing to the development of nursing knowledge and skills.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing evidence-based solutions.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members, promoting patient-centered care and education.
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Minimum 6 months of nursing (RN) experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer, with card in-hand before start date.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in acute care or virtual health settings.
- Certification in a relevant specialty (e.g., Med-Surg, Critical Care).
- Experience with electronic medical records and telehealth platforms.
