About the Role: Making a Difference through Music Education
As a Part-Time Music Instructor with Music & Arts, you'll be at the forefront of our music education services, delivering high-quality instruction to students in both group and one-on-one settings. Key Responsibilities: Bringing Music to Life
- Teach music classes in local schools, adapting to class sizes that range from a few students to over 50, and tailoring your instruction to meet the diverse needs of your students.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, curriculum, and benchmarks that cater to various experience levels and instruments, ensuring students achieve their full potential.
- Recruit and retain students for band and orchestra programs through innovative events, instrument testing, and recruitment nights, fostering a sense of community and musical growth.
- Maintain strong relationships with school administrators and principals to secure class schedules, communicate changes, and address any issues that may arise, ensuring seamless collaboration.
- Coordinate concerts, solo & ensemble activities, and other performances that showcase student talent and progress, providing opportunities for students to shine.
- Work closely with our retail store and education representatives to ensure students have the necessary instruments and supplies to succeed in their musical endeavors.
- Offer summer lessons and continuing education activities, providing a continuum of learning and musical development beyond the regular school year.
- Perform additional duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of our music education programs.
Essential Qualifications: The Foundation for Success
