Key Responsibilities
As a Remote Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in our pharmacy operations, working closely with pharmacists, providers, and patients to ensure the highest quality of care. Your responsibilities will include:
- Translating prescriptions from prescribers and accurately entering information into patient profiles in accordance with state regulations
- Collaborating with pharmacists and other team members to resolve issues, address patient concerns, and ensure seamless operations
- Ensuring quality assurance, reporting adverse events, and assisting with prescriber and patient outreach as needed
- Providing exceptional customer service, responding to patient inquiries, and addressing concerns in a professional and empathetic manner
- Maintaining accurate records, managing workflow, and meeting productivity standards
Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- Valid Pharmacy Technician license as required by state law
- Basic math and computer skills, including proficiency in Windows navigation, Microsoft applications, internet, and email
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, providers, and team members
- Ability to learn internal systems, processes, and programs as needed
