About the Role: Physician Assistant (PA) - Virtual Telehealth Eating Disorder Treatment Specialist
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team of healthcare professionals in providing virtual telehealth services to patients with eating disorders in the Pacific and Mountain States. As a PA at Equip, you will be an integral part of our multidisciplinary treatment team, working closely with therapists, dietitians, peer mentors, and family mentors to deliver comprehensive care to our patients. Your expertise and passion for providing evidence-based care will be essential in helping our patients achieve lasting recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive assessments and diagnoses of eating disorders and co-occurring psychiatric conditions, with psychiatric consultation available as needed.
- Develop and implement medication treatment plans for eating disorders and co-occurring conditions in a virtual clinic setting.
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary treatment team, including physicians, dietitians, therapists, patient mentors, and family mentors, to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Utilize our electronic medical record (EMR) system to communicate with patients and the treatment team, and to document patient interactions and treatment plans.
- Participate in treatment team meetings, supervision, and department meetings to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the growth and development of our virtual telehealth program.
Essential Qualifications:
- Certified Physician Assistant (PA) with a strong foundation in evidence-based practice.
- Ability to maintain active PA licenses and pursue cross-licensing as applicable, with costs covered by Equip.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience treating pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients in an outpatient setting, with a focus on eating disorders and mental health.
- Demonstrated commitment to providing excellent, patient-centered care, and a passion for advancing clinical skills and professional development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Residence in the Pacific or Mountain Standard Time zone, with the ability to work from home and participate in virtual meetings and collaborations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a virtual telehealth setting, with a strong understanding of the benefits and challenges of remote care delivery.
- Knowledge of eating disorder treatment principles and practices, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and family-based therapy (FBT).
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and telehealth platforms, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
We offer a competitive compensation package, with a salary range of $115,000 to $130,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to your salary, you will also be eligible for a range of perks and benefits, including:

- A 401(k) retirement savings plan, with a company match.
