Job Summary
We're looking for a highly motivated and customer-centric Member Frontline Cashier to join our team. As a Member Frontline Cashier, you'll be the face of our organization, responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a positive attitude and provide exceptional customer service to members across the club, answering any questions they may have and resolving member issues and concerns.
- Process member purchases, assist with payments according to company policies and procedures for different membership and payment types, and assist members with transactions utilizing registers or self-checkout area.
- Keep the store environment clean, neat, and member-ready by zoning the area, arranging and organizing merchandise, and maintaining a safe and secure environment for members and associates.
- Provide guidance and support to members regarding member self-service technology and promote the company's products and services to drive sales growth.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple tasks and responsibilities while maintaining a high level of productivity and accuracy.
- Collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners to achieve business objectives and improve processes.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans, using the Open Door Policy, and applying these in executing business processes and practices.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or associate's degree preferred.
- Previous retail experience, preferably in a customer-facing role, with a strong focus on customer service and sales growth.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple tasks and responsibilities while maintaining a high level of productivity and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
- Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash, operating a cash register, and processing transactions.
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and move quickly and efficiently around the store.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following preferred qualifications will make you a strong candidate for this role:
- Experience working with mobile retail applications and front-end equipment, such as cash registers.
- Customer service experience in a retail environment, with a focus on driving sales growth and improving customer satisfaction.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
