We are seeking an exceptional Math Tutor to join our team at Mathnasium of Laurelwood in San Mateo, CA. Key Responsibilities
- Provide Exceptional Instruction and Tutoring Services: Deliver high-quality math instruction to students, tailored to their individual needs and learning styles, to help them achieve their academic goals.
- Positive Interactions with Parents and Students: Establish strong relationships with parents and students, providing regular updates on progress, and fostering a supportive and encouraging learning environment.
- Proficiency with Digital Educational Materials and Processes: Become proficient in our digital educational materials and processes, utilizing technology to enhance the learning experience and improve student outcomes.
- Teach Using the Mathnasium Method: Implement our proprietary teaching method, which includes individualized instruction in a group setting, to provide students with a comprehensive and engaging learning experience.
- Assess Student Progress and Collaborate with Team Members: Continuously assess student progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness, and work collaboratively with team members to develop targeted strategies for improvement.
- Evaluate, Grade, and Correct Student Work: Provide constructive feedback on student work and homework, helping students to understand their mistakes, and guiding them towards mastery of mathematical concepts.
- Maintain a Clean and Professional Learning Environment: Contribute to the maintenance of a clean, organized, and professional learning environment, ensuring that all students feel safe, supported, and motivated to learn.

Essential Qualifications
