About the Role: Counselor - Flexible Schedule
We're seeking a talented and experienced Licensed Therapist to join our team in Olympia, WA. As a Counselor with a flexible schedule, you'll have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, from children and adolescents to adults, and make a meaningful difference in their lives. Our hybrid work model offers the flexibility to work remotely, with the option to spend time in our office as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered mental health therapy services to clients in an outpatient setting
- Conduct assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning for clients with a range of mental health needs
- Develop and maintain a caseload of clients, with a focus on building strong therapeutic relationships
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and other therapists, to ensure comprehensive care
- Stay up-to-date with best practices in mental health treatment, and participate in ongoing education and training
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment plans
Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you'll need to meet the following essential qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Washington
- Experience working with diverse populations, including adults, children, and adolescents
- Strong clinical skills, with a focus on evidence-based treatment approaches
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
- Ability to work independently, with a high degree of autonomy and self-motivation
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are highly preferred:
- Experience working in an outpatient mental health setting
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs) and other clinical software
- Strong knowledge of mental health diagnosis and treatment, including trauma-informed care
- Experience working with clients with complex or co-occurring mental health needs
