As a Moderator - Laboratory Science, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that centers are correctly and consistently assessing student work and that the materials submitted for moderation meet the required standard.
This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with a strong background in laboratory science to join our team and make a real difference in the education sector. As a Moderator, you will be responsible for completing moderation activities, including attending team and internal standardization meetings, demonstrating continuous professional development (CPD) across your area of expertise, and moderating center marking and document outcomes in line with quality assurance guidelines. To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum of a level 3 qualification in the subject area advertised, as well as evidence of working within the laboratory science sector. You will also need to have relevant teaching and/or assessing experience, excellent report writing skills, and self-motivation and organizational skills. Preferred qualifications include:
