Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Driver Helper to join our team and assist our CDL Drivers with loading, unloading, and delivering product to customer locations on designated routes. As a Driver Helper, you'll play a critical role in ensuring that our products are delivered efficiently and effectively, while also providing exceptional customer service and merchandising our products in stores. Key Responsibilities

• Travel with a Driver throughout the day to deliver, fill, merchandise, and rotate products at customer accounts
• Merchandise, display, and rotate products according to company standards, ensuring that products are properly stocked and displayed
• Pick up company property and returns, and reload truck with customer returns, empty shells, and pallets
• Provide superior customer service and foster relationships with store management and personnel, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner
• Maintain accurate records and reports, including delivery records, inventory levels, and customer interactions
• Participate in ongoing training and development programs to improve knowledge and skills, and stay up-to-date on company policies and procedures

Essential Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required; 1+ years of experience working in grocery, retail, consumer goods, warehousing, or a related field preferred
• Minimum 6 months of general work experience required; experience working with manual or powered pallet jacks preferred
• Must have the ability to repetitively lift, push, and pull 50+ pounds, reach above head height, squat, kneel, bend, and reach
• Must have the ability to stand and walk for long periods of time, and work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, drivers, and other stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a beverage distribution environment, or with a similar product line
• Experience with inventory management, merchandising, or sales
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
• Ability to work in a team environment, and collaborate with others to achieve business objectives
