We're looking for a skilled and dedicated Dispensing Pharmacist to join our team in our innovative Remote office.

About Our Company and the Role

Omnicare, a CVS Health Company, provides care to residents of skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and chronic care settings. As a Dispensing Pharmacist with our team, you'll play a critical role in providing routine and emergency comprehensive and accurate drug screening, information, processing, and dispensing services for various drug distribution systems to our customers. You'll work amongst great colleagues in a supportive environment aligned with our company's mission, allowing our customers to focus on giving their patients the best care.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure medications dispensed are clinically appropriate and verify orders entered by technician staff for accuracy
• Provide accurate and timely drug information to providers and customer facilities
• Check for completeness and precision of all new and refill labels and orders, as well as content and accuracy of all drug packaging and labeling
• Prepare and/or supervise the preparation of sterile IV drug products or solutions, as required
• Assist in maintaining a perpetual inventory for schedule II drugs and demonstrate knowledge of DEA and state law with regards to controlled drug dispensing
• Provide evening, weekend, and holiday coverage as needed by the business and follow all applicable state and government regulations, including HIPAA
• Perform other duties as assigned, which may vary by location

Essential and Preferred Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must be a licensed pharmacist in the state of Pennsylvania, active and in good standing. A Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy or Doctorate of Pharmacy is required. We're looking for a pharmacist with a strong work ethic, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to prioritize workflow. You should be able to lead and foster a culture of continuous improvement, quality, and service.

The typical pay range for this role is $55.53 - $93.08 per hour. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
