As a Live Chat Specialist, you will play a critical role in responding to borrowers via different digital communication channels, collecting past due payments, and providing appropriate payment solutions to cure borrower delinquency.

Key Responsibilities
- Communicate with delinquent borrowers via different digital communication channels, including live chat, email, and phone
- Find solutions to help bring borrower's loans to a current status, providing exceptional customer experience and support
- Process payments for borrowers with past due payments, ensuring timely and efficient resolution
- Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly collection and metric goals, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
- Maintain records of contacts and attempted contacts with delinquent account customers, as well as records of any payments collected from the customer
Essential Qualifications
- 1-2 years of direct experience in credit and collections, with knowledge of sales, negotiation, and persuasion tools
- Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to craft clear and concise messages
- Prior experience with financial products preferred, with a strong understanding of financial concepts and terminology
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Self-motivated and extremely goal-oriented, with a strong desire to succeed in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with a professional demeanor, able to work collaboratively with colleagues and customers
- Bilingual Spanish/English required, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customer base
