Job Overview and Responsibilities
In this critical role, you will be the voice of Wayfair, working to build strong relationships with our customers and providing them with personalized support and solutions. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Empathetically assisting customers in navigating various post-order issues, such as delivery questions, damages, returns, replacements, and order notifications
- Demonstrating reliability and dedication to being present and on time for your entire shift, ensuring that we are always available to support our customers when they need us most
- Handling a high volume of contacts, with an estimated 50-60 phone calls per shift, in a fast-paced and structured environment
- Meeting our high-performance bar by exceeding customer satisfaction, excelling in customer support performance metrics, and completing other duties as assigned
- Professionally engaging with customers, listening actively, and showing empathy to understand their concerns and leverage internal resources to find the best solution
- De-escalating customer concerns, using conflict management skills to balance the needs of the customer with the options available from the business, while maintaining a professional composure
- Problem-solving and thinking analytically to resolve customer issues in a first-touch resolution approach, without relying on pre-populated scripts
- Being tech-savvy and multitasking, navigating multiple browsers, tabs, tools, and screens to quickly and accurately answer questions
- Escalating systemic issues and identifying areas for improvement on behalf of Wayfair customers, sharing trends and insights with leadership to drive continuous improvement
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Hold a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Be fluent in Spanish and English, with the ability to read, write, and understand both languages
- Have a basic understanding of operating Windows Operating Systems or equivalent
- Be available to complete our 100% mandatory training program, with no exceptions for misses, time off, or tardiness
- Pass a candidate assessment to proceed with the interview process
