Key Responsibilities
- Provide IT support to internal, partner, merchant, and external networks to ensure seamless connectivity and security for blithequark's applications and clients
- Manage firewall hardware and software maintenance, including site implementations, inventories, system planning, preventive maintenance, and break/fix services in data center critical infrastructure
- Support enterprise remote access clients to align client-edge security technology with user-centric approaches on workstations, utilizing advanced technologies like Application ID and User ID for granular user identification
- Collaborate with blithequark's business divisions through consulting services to provide firewall policies and access control guidance
- Ensure operational availability for potential emergencies and provide support for critical facilities and infrastructure components for Organization Security
- Support the IT Data Security Division to maintain the integrity and service continuity of the enterprise data and applications
- Develop and implement departmental policies, guidelines, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with governing corporate policies and regulations
- Manage project upgrades, renovations, and improvements for data center and remote communication room standards, ensuring accurate documentation, best-in-class product and service pricing, and vendor compliance with contractual obligations
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, information technology, or a related discipline)
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, such as TCP/IP, VPN, firewalls, and security protocols
- Knowledge of cloud networking and security principles
- Experience managing and maintaining server infrastructure on-premises and in the cloud
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues related to managed security appliances and their integration with other systems
