We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Substitute Teacher to join our team in the South Bay and Harbor areas of Los Angeles. As a Substitute Teacher with Scoot Education, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of schools, including Redondo Beach USD, Hermosa Beach City USD, Hawthorne USD, Culver City USD, Environmental Charter Schools, Scholarship Prep Charter School, and Vistamar School, among others. You will be responsible for creating engaging and interactive learning experiences for students, building strong relationships with school staff and communities, and continuously reflecting on your practice to become a better educator.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong background in and/or passion for education, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should be reliable, punctual, and professional, with a growth mindset and empathetic nature. A 30 Day Substitute Teaching Permit or CA Teaching Credential is highly desirable, although not essential.
