Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy cloud-based data pipelines, data warehouses, data lakes, and data quality tooling to support AI and machine learning applications
• Work with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements, and develop solutions that meet business needs
• Develop and maintain scalable and robust AI solutions using best practices such as MLOps, LLM Ops, CI/CD, testing, and monitoring
• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to design and implement AI and machine learning models, and integrate them with cloud-based data pipelines
• Work with agile methodologies to deliver high-quality solutions quickly and efficiently
• Ensure data quality, security, and compliance, and develop solutions to address data governance and privacy concerns
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in AI, machine learning, and data engineering, and apply this knowledge to improve existing solutions and develop new ones

Essential Qualifications

• Experience working with applications and data in a cloud environment, with a strong understanding of cloud-based data pipelines, data warehouses, data lakes, and data quality tooling
• Proficiency in SQL and Python, with experience working with data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes
• Experience with Microsoft services such as Databricks and Azure Services, with a strong understanding of their applications and limitations
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and microservices, with a strong understanding of their role in cloud-based data pipelines
• Experience working with agile methodologies, with a strong understanding of their principles and practices
• Experience working in a container environment, with a strong understanding of containerization and its applications

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of AI and machine learning concepts, frameworks, and tools, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Deep learning, LLM, Embeddings, Google Vertex, and Amazon SageMaker
• Experience building and deploying scalable and robust AI solutions, using best practices such as MLOps, LLM Ops, CI/CD, testing, and monitoring
• Experience working with distributed computing, such as Spark, Hadoop, and Kafka, with a strong understanding of their applications and limitations
• Experience working with C/C#, with a strong understanding of their applications and limitations
