Key Responsibilities
As a Bilingual Teacher (Polish Language) at Benson Primary School and Franzen Intermediate School, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing engaging lesson plans, tailored to the needs of students in grades Kdg, 1, and 2
- Providing instruction in both English and Polish, promoting bilingualism and biliteracy among students
- Assessing student progress, identifying areas of improvement, and adapting instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum, ensuring alignment with district and state standards
- Communicating effectively with parents and guardians, providing updates on student progress and involving them in the educational process

Essential and Preferred Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must possess:
- A Bachelor's degree (B.S. or B.A.) from an accredited institution
- A valid Teaching Certification, with a Professional Educator License (PEL)
- A Bilingual Endorsement, demonstrating proficiency in both English and Polish
- Registration with the DuPage Regional Office of Education
Preferred qualifications include:
