As a Virtual English Instructor with our franchise, you'll have the opportunity to empower students to learn at their own pace through active instruction and engaging course materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Tutor students in English, covering grade levels from pre-K to 11th grade, and teach lessons in reading, writing, grammar, and vocabulary.
- Utilize provided teaching materials and curriculum to deliver high-quality instruction.
- Grade homework assignments, tests, and essays within class time, ensuring timely feedback for students.
- Maintain accurate student progress records to inform instruction and drive student success.
- Teach classes independently, demonstrating a caring and confident manner that fosters a supportive learning environment.
Requirements and Qualifications
To excel as a Virtual English Instructor with Best in Class, you'll need:
- At least Sophomore standing in a college or university, demonstrating a strong foundation in English language and literature.
- Knowledge of correct grammar, spelling, and English usage, with the ability to model these skills for students.
- The ability to follow instruction, work collaboratively as a team member, and teach classes independently.
- A reliable computer with a working web-camera and stable internet connection, ensuring seamless virtual instruction.
- Experience in a tutorial program is preferred, but not required – we're committed to providing training and support to help you succeed.
- Special consideration will be given to those who aspire to become teachers, as we believe in nurturing talent and fostering career growth.

Work Schedule and Compensation
As a Virtual English Instructor with our franchise, you'll work a schedule that includes:
- Shifts ranging from 4 to 5 hours on weekdays and up to 4 hours on weekends.
- All classes are conducted in Pacific Standard Time (PST).
- Weekday shifts from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
- Weekend shifts from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
You'll be compensated at a rate of $28.00 per hour, with opportunities for growth and professional development.
