As a Senior Analyst, you will play a critical role in delivering impactful threat intelligence to our clients, driving their decision-making and specialized action in the face of evolving cyber threats.
About the Role
In this on-site, client-facing position, you will serve as a conduit to Mandiant's extensive network of cybersecurity, threat intelligence, and information operations experts. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the delivery of relevant threat intelligence to each client's security or operational environment. You will work closely with clients, providing strategic and tactical insights that inform their cybersecurity posture and response to emerging threats.
Key Responsibilities
- Connect threat intelligence to foster a deep understanding of tracked threat activity, enabling clients to make informed decisions about their cybersecurity.
- Perform strategic, tactical, and operational research and analysis of adversarial cyber threats and groups, staying ahead of the evolving threat landscape.
- Assess current and emerging tools and best practices for tracking advanced threats, including the tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) of attackers, industry trends, and adversary motivations.
- Design and deliver high-quality briefings and reports to clients' executives, security teams, or individual experts, presenting complex threat intelligence in a clear and actionable manner.
- Present strategic and tactical threat intelligence about threat groups, their methodologies, and the motivations driving their activities, conveying the significance of findings to diverse audiences.
Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- At least 2 years of experience in a Digital Threat Intelligence role in a client-facing environment.
- Experience with CTI (Cyber Threat Intelligence) techniques and applications in one of the functional areas: Identify, Secure, Respond, or Recover.
- Proven ability in partner management, driving, presenting, and reporting to various audiences, including executives.
- US Government Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information Clearance with polygraph.
Preferred Qualifications
While not mandatory, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge:
- Experience in the utilization, processing, and analysis of tactical (technical) CTI within an operational environment, supporting monitoring, detection, and response capabilities.
- A deep understanding of CTI techniques and application concepts, with the ability to mentor and guide new CTI colleagues.
- The capacity to relate raw intelligence from various sources into reports and briefings, presenting complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to present written or verbal data to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- The ability to take complex, ambiguous subjects, develop a strategy, and influence stakeholders.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work in fast-paced and constantly evolving environments.
