Job Summary
As a Senior Product Manager, AIR Expansion, you will be responsible for defining product requirements, setting strategy, and championing the needs of our customers. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across multiple geographies to identify opportunities to modify or build Amazon Air standard tools and processes, driving standardization of global Air Transportation mechanisms. Your mission will be to design, test, and productionize technology solutions that support effective management of network in terms of Safety, Planning, Operation, Service Performance, and Disruption Management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams to evaluate air transportation opportunities, identifying areas for improvement and innovation.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy, managing the entire product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical execution.
- Define and write product requirement documents, gaining buy-in from stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Manage and coordinate multiple project assignments, continuously improving customer experiences and developing best-in-class air transportation capabilities.
- Establish goals and review metrics to identify opportunities and deliver success.
- Identify and communicate roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to cross-functional project teams, ensuring effective collaboration and execution.
- Represent Amazon Air with partners, working across all relevant cross-functional areas to guarantee effective communication, implementation, and execution of objectives.
- Navigate through ambiguity, managing and coordinating multiple project assignments simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, accepting ownership and accountability of the process and delivering on commitments.
- Travel internationally up to 20% of the time, collaborating with global stakeholders and teams.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Product, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- +5 years of experience in Product or Supply Chain Management, Business Development, or Technology.
- Experience owning and driving roadmap strategy and definition.
- Experience owning end-to-end delivery within aviation, transportation, or a related industry.
- Experience building product roadmap strategy and definition.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or equivalent.
- Experience influencing senior leadership through data-driven insights.
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders.
- Knowledge of key customer experience metrics and methodology (e.g., NPS).
