Job Summary

We're seeking a Senior Originator - Distributed Generation to lead the sales and project origination process for commercial distributed generation solar PV projects. As a Senior Originator, you will originate projects through direct customer relationships, strategic channel partnerships, and industry relationships. You'll work closely with internal subject matter experts to ensure successful origination of viable projects and provide maximum value to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and Originate Projects: Identify opportunities via internal and external channels, screen and qualify potential project opportunities, and analyze customer information and development viability to identify project opportunities.
• Collaborate with Internal Teams: Collaborate with internal SMEs, including engineering & construction, project finance, and legal teams, to ensure successful origination of viable projects.
• Manage Multiple Projects: Manage multiple project timelines concurrently, prepare customer presentations and proposals, and coordinate follow-up as needed.
• Develop Regulatory Knowledge: Develop working knowledge of relevant regulatory & policy landscapes, including market incentives & programs.
• Marketing and Sales: Create and maintain Distributed Generation marketing materials, and assist in preparing and negotiating term sheets with customers to secure projects.
• CRM Management: Update and track opportunities in CRM (e.g., Salesforce).

Essential Qualifications

• Education: High School Grad / GED or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 4+ years of experience in a related field, preferably in the energy sector.
• Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong attention to detail, and project management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Energy Sector Experience: Experience in the energy sector, particularly relating to origination and early-stage project development.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated base pay for this position is $98,400.00 to $147,600.00 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a wide range of benefits to support our employees and their eligible family members, including:
