We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Product Director to lead our product and subscription growth initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a product and technology roadmap to drive growth and efficiency.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with our marketing, product, and engineering teams to define, design, and deliver features and marketing automation capabilities that drive short-term and long-term product, audience, and subscriber growth. You will also play a key role in launching products and features on new platforms, enabling our customers to enjoy Wondery podcasts and our Wondery+ subscription service across all their devices.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management, preferably in a subscription-based digital media business, and a proven track record of delivering results-driven products. You will be a self-starter with excellent product management skills, a deep understanding of customer needs, and a passion for using technology to drive growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute Wondery's growth and marketing automation product strategy and own the capabilities roadmap
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, engineering, and analytics, to define and deliver growth features and related product capabilities
- Evangelize new growth and marketing tech capabilities with stakeholders, providing training and support as needed
- Partner with vendors to stay up-to-date with current and upcoming features that may improve our marketing automation and growth efforts
- Stay current with industry trends and make recommendations for product enhancements and new features that will support our customer acquisition and retention efforts
Requirements:
- 2+ years of end-to-end product delivery experience
- 3+ years of technical product or program management experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology choices and strategy related to a product
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience driving roadmap methodology and definition
- Experience in a data-driven business environment; able to pivot quickly based on ongoing data
