Job Summary
We're looking for a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team and help us grow the sequel to our hit life sim game, Comfy Grove. As a key member of our engineering team, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing game features, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize game features using C# and Unity
- Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and prioritize project requirements
- Assist in the development of live carrier sports to identify and resolve issues
- Contribute to the growth of our mobile development capabilities, including iOS and Android
- Coordinate and assemble effective partnerships within the engineering team and other development verticals
- Work autonomously and impact teams through proactive leadership and effective communication
- Participate in code reviews and ensure high-quality code that optimizes performance and stability
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in game development
Requirements:
- 3+ years of professional game development experience
- Experience delivering at least one commercial game using the Unity game engine
- Advanced programming skills in C# with the ability to write and review code that optimizes performance and stability
- Experience with live carrier sports development and issue resolution
- iOS and Android mobile development experience
- Ability to coordinate and assemble effective partnerships within the engineering team and other development verticals
- Ability to work autonomously and impact teams through proactive leadership and effective communication
- Passion for making the world a better place through games!
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with agile development methodologies
- Knowledge of game development pipelines and tools
- Experience with cloud-based game development and deployment
- Familiarity with Netflix's technology stack and architecture
