About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Director, Global Head - Adversarial Abuse and Analytics to lead our Trust and Safety initiatives. As a key member of the Trust and Security team, you will be responsible for managing the Adversarial Abuse team and the Business Analytics team, driving strategic decisions with data-driven insights. Your expertise will be crucial in identifying and mitigating emerging threats, developing policies, and implementing effective solutions to ensure a safe and secure online environment for our users.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Adversarial Abuse team in detecting and removing malicious actors, and the Business Analytics team in generating insights and measuring abuse trends.
• Anticipate and mitigate risks from emerging industry trends, such as generative AI, and develop strategies to stay ahead of adversaries.
• Collaborate with the Policy Development team to create policies using account, social, and content signals to describe harmful behavior.
• Deliver effective and efficient operational execution in a global team working 24x7, and engage, retain, manage, and develop top talent.
• Manage escalations with rapid turnaround times, provide data-driven insights, and implement policies while building relationships with key cross-functional partners.

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics).
• At least 4 years of experience in a related field, with a strong background in risk management, fraud fighting, and data analysis.
• 2 years of experience working with engineering teams that build data infrastructure and ML models.
• 2 years of experience leading teams with the ability to work non-standard hours as escalations require.

Preferred Qualifications

• Postgraduate education in a connected field (e.g., research, engineering, data science).
• 2 years of experience in analyzing large datasets and anomaly detection.
• Experience or demonstrated interest in anti-abuse activities.
• Knowledge of SQL/R/Matlab and data analysis tools.
• Exceptional influencing and leadership relational skills, with the ability to build relationships with cross-functional partners.
• Excellent business judgment, strategic and analytical skills, including using data to drive strategy and business action.
