About the Role
As a Senior Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll be the primary point of contact for our customers, addressing their inquiries, resolving issues, and providing personalized support via inbound and outbound call center operations. You'll not only deliver exceptional customer experiences but also mentor new agents and contribute to the growth and development of your peers.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and respond to inbound phone calls, addressing customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Initiate outbound phone calls to customers, providing updates, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Document all calls in our ticketing and tracking systems, maintaining accurate records and ensuring seamless follow-up.
- Respond to customer inquiries, providing data and information within required time frames, and escalating complex issues as needed.
- Act as a liaison between our claims department and healthcare providers, facilitating communication and resolving issues.
- Research customer claims in primary payor systems, analyzing data and providing insights to inform customer support.
- Maintain the highest level of customer service on every call, ensuring that customers receive personalized attention and support.
- Mentor new call center agents, sharing knowledge and expertise to support their growth and development.
- Contribute to the improvement of peers, providing feedback and guidance to enhance overall team performance.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A comprehensive understanding of covered plan benefits, including Medicare and Medicare Advantage.
- Knowledge of physician practice and hospital coding, billing, and medical terminology.
- The ability to take escalated calls and issues, providing expert support and resolving complex problems.
- A basic understanding of MS Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
- 3+ years of experience in healthcare call center operations, including Medicare/Medicare Advantage.
- A high school degree or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
