The Oregon Department of Forestry (ODF) is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Forest Management Technician - Recreation Technician to join our team in Forest Grove, Tillamook, or Astoria. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing Oregon's forests, promoting environmental sustainability, and supporting local communities.
The ODF is a state agency responsible for protecting, managing, and promoting the stewardship of Oregon's forests. Our mission is to serve the people of Oregon by enhancing environmental, economic, and community sustainability. We work closely with private landowners, local communities, and other stakeholders to ensure the long-term health and productivity of Oregon's forests.
This is a seasonal, remote-friendly position that offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and cleaning recreation facilities, providing exceptional customer service, and working independently with minimal supervision. The position requires a strong and diverse skillset, including experience in parks and recreation administration, outdoor recreation management, or a related field.
The ODF offers a competitive salary range of $3,333.00 - $4,970.00 per month, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes a comprehensive health insurance plan, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
