About the Role

As a Remote Pharmacy Technician 1, you will play a vital role in the Pharmacy Technician Fulfillment team, providing critical support in the preparation and distribution of drug products. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of prescription medications, resolving complex issues, and delivering outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Process prescription exceptions, including resolving claim rejects and conducting member and physician outreach to resolve issues.
• Enter member demographics and prescription information into the data processing system with high accuracy.
• Research and resolve rejected insurance billing issues and/or escalated member issues, demonstrating problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Escalate questions regarding prescriptions to a Pharmacist for interpretation or provide direction on processing, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Assist with inbound and/or outbound patient or physician calls, providing excellent customer service and addressing concerns in a professional manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned, showcasing adaptability and a willingness to take on new challenges.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must possess the following hard skills and qualifications:

• Pharmacy Technician certification, demonstrating your expertise and commitment to the profession.
• Registration and licensure in the state of Georgia, with residency in GA.
• A minimum of 1+ year of Pharmacy Technician experience, providing a solid foundation in pharmacy operations and patient care.
• Basic computer skills, with proficiency in Excel and prescription medications software approved by the PTCB.

• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve complex issues and think critically.
