Job Summary
We're seeking a skilled and certified Front-End Pharmacy Technician to join our team on a remote basis, working from the comfort of your own home in Florida. As a Front-End Pharmacy Technician, you'll play a critical role in ensuring seamless patient care, processing prescriptions, and providing exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities
- Enter new prescriptions for patients into our data processing system, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Process exceptions, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Communicate effectively with physician offices and patients to clarify prescription details, address concerns, or provide updates.
- Assist in back-end efforts, including picking, packing, and manifesting, as needed to support business operations.
- Provide pharmacist call-back and patient quality assurance support, ensuring high-quality care and customer satisfaction.
- Load insurance plans and coordination of benefits into our system for new patients and referrals.
- Participate in reviewing and auditing test claims for new patients and referrals.
- Handle reorders and email distributions as needed, maintaining seamless communication with patients and healthcare providers.
- Perform image indexing and AE report filing, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
- Provide primary support and expertise for specialized programs, such as ETT or Pharma, requiring special handling or specific disease state knowledge.
Essential Qualifications
- High school diploma from an accredited school or equivalent GED.
- Active pharmacy technician license or certification as required by the state Board of Pharmacy.
- 1 year of work experience in healthcare, specialty pharmacy, PBM, or call center settings.
- Proven customer service skills, with experience meeting quality standards and evaluating customer satisfaction.
- Basic knowledge of MS Windows, MS Office Suite, and/or similar operating/software programs.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate diplomatically and confidentially.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with experience working effectively with diverse stakeholders.
