Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and reporting on merchant discount income, identifying trends and drivers of variance, and developing financial models to inform business decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive revenue growth and improve profitability, and will have the opportunity to develop and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our financial analysis and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain financial models to forecast merchant discount income and track performance against targets
- Analyze and report on merchant discount income trends and drivers of variance
- Identify opportunities to drive revenue growth and improve profitability through data-driven insights and strategic recommendations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements and enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our financial analysis and reporting
- Support external audits and reviews, and manage the resolution of any issues or findings
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in financial services or payments industry, or other related financial roles
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in finance, accounting, or business
- Highly proficient in Excel and other financial analysis tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement creative solutions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple demands and deadlines
