Day in the Life: Back End Pharmacy Support Staff
As a Back End Pharmacy Support staff member, you will be responsible for:
- Receiving product deliveries, pulling and staging product for distribution, and rotating stock
- Coordinating activities with delivery drivers and ensuring accurate order fulfillment
- Packaging and dispensing medication, reviewing delivery orders and bins for accuracy
- Preparing finished prescriptions and performing light warehouse duties
- Conducting physical inventories of medication and scanning medication pending for delivery
- Sorting baskets for delivery by facility units, location, and delivery times
Key Responsibilities
As a Pharmacy Support Staff member, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Inventory Management: Receiving, stocking, and rotating medication and supplies
- Order Fulfillment: Preparing and packaging medication for delivery, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
