Job Title: Oracle E-Business Suite 12i Manufacturing Consultant
Location: Austin, TX Duration: 6-12 months+
Job Description:
• We are seeking an experienced Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) 12i Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Plan to Manufacture (PTM) processes.
• The ideal candidate will play a key role in end-to-end EBS 12i implementations, working closely with business stakeholders to design, configure, and optimize manufacturing planning and execution solutions.
Responsibilities
• Lead and support Oracle EBS 12i implementation projects focused on Plan to Manufacture (PTM).
• Conduct requirement gathering and gap analysis for manufacturing and planning processes.
• Configure and support EBS modules related to PTM, including BOM, WIP, MRP, Inventory, and Costing.
• Design and execute end-to-end manufacturing flows from planning through production execution.
• Support data migration, system testing (SIT/UAT), and production go-live activities.
• Provide functional guidance to technical teams for customizations, reports, and integrations.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide post-go-live support.
• Prepare functional design documents, test scripts, and user training materials.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle EBS 12i implementations.
• Deep understanding of Plan to Manufacture (PTM) business processes.
• Experience with Discrete or Process Manufacturing environments.
• Solid functional knowledge of BOM, WIP, MRP, Inventory, and Cost Management.
• Experience in full lifecycle implementations including design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
• Ability to work directly with business users and translate requirements into system solutions.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Oracle EBS certifications.
• Experience with EBS upgrades or global rollouts.
• Exposure to integrations with SCM or MES systems
