Tarion is an independent, not-for-profit organization that provides consumer protection for new home buyers in Ontario. They are seeking a Human Resources Administrator to manage day-to-day HR tasks, assist with recruitment, and support various HR functions within the department.
Responsibilities
- Assist with drafting employee letters including probation, anniversary, reward and employment letters
- Administer employee benefit programs and provide assistance to employees with benefits questions
- Assist with payroll preparation by providing relevant data, including absences, salary changes and leaves
- Provide backup support to payroll department
- Monitor all day-to-day administration of the attendance tracking system (Replicon)
- Provide day-to-day administration support using the HRMS (Ceridian Dayforce), including data entry and reporting, and organize and maintain of the HR SharePoint site (employee files)
- Provide administrative support to the HR Team for HR projects and initiatives, and maintain and update the HR calendar
- Complete invoicing for the HR department and oversee the operation of the company’s gift fund as the administrator
- Provide administrative support to the VP, Human Resources
- File management
- Other HR administration duties as assigned
Skills
- A minimum of a college diploma with HR, business administration or related discipline
- 1-3 years' HR administration or related experience
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written
- Strong MS Office skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize work effectively
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Experience with HRMS (Dayforce) is an asset
